My Reiki Teachings
- I run Reiki First Degree, Second Degree Practitioner Level and Reiki Master course
- I am a registered Reiki Master Teacher with The UK Reiki Federation and The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) with whom I am also insured with
- My lineage goes back to Dr Mikao Usui 
- ​I have been a Reiki Practitioner for over 12 years
- My teachings are in line with the guidance from The UK Reiki Federation.
-I teach the traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho system and I also include my own experiences through the over 12 years of practicing energy work. 
- There haven't been many days since my Reiki First Degree Training that I haven't used Reiki in one way or another. I have found it to be a powerful transformational tool that has supported me throughout the years
- In my experience Reiki Training finds you when you are ready to receive learning from it and with the right teacher for you. It is my belief and experience that you come into alignment with your future reiki teacher and their trainings at exactly the right time
- I offer 1 to 1 teachings , private group teachings and public group teachings. Small groups of up to 6 people
- The courses are run in a relaxed environment 
- It is important to me that my students feel heard and supported. I have a WhatsApp group for all of my students to share Reiki stories, experiences and to arrange swaps.

Shoden. Reiki First Degree

Duration: 2 day course 

Who is the course for: Reiki First Degree is the beginner’s level of Reiki and is for those wishing to find out more about Reiki, its history, the principles and to explore and learn how to use it in everyday life, learning techniques to use Reiki on themselves and their loved ones (including pets!).  

 

It is a powerful transformative tool, that supports us to become our authentic selves, free from ego and brings us into alignment with peace, harmony and love for all things. By investing in our own healing and wellbeing we create strong foundations, moving forward. 

 

Each level of Reiki is a complete system and there is no need to move on to the next level. You will be attuned to the Reiki energy and encouraged to explore this beautiful healing energy. Anyone can use it!

What's included:

- Instruction Manual and handouts

- Attunements -You will receive 4 during Reiki First Degree

- Certificate (upon receiving case studies)

- A copy of your Lineage 

- Recommended reading/where to find information and keep up to date of knowledge

- On-going mentoring/support 

- Meet up to include an energy treatment Reiki/Sound in the week before the course starts. These are held as a Group and will be where you meet the others attending the course. 1:1 for students who are learning individually with me

- £10 off treatments with me to all students in the 21 day clearing process to help support them at this time

 

Course Requirements:

- No experience required, Reiki is open to anyone who wishes to learn from it. Anyone can use it!

- 2 days in person training

​- 5 case studies (10 treatments)

Certification:

Case Studies: You will be required to complete and submit 5 case studies. You will then be presented with your certificate and lineage. Should you wish to become a Reiki Practitioner a Reiki First Degree certificate is required.

What will you learn?

We will cover the below content however we will allow the Reiki to guide us, allowing more flow with the teachings, trusting that whatever comes up during the course is what we need to address and learn from. 

 

You will receive practical information but the real way to learn is through practicing giving treatments on yourself and others, the more you use it the more you will feel it. It is a deeply personal journey and there is no right or wrong. There are many ways to let this beautiful energy into your life. It’s about exploring, trusting your intuition and practising it often. 

 

Course Content

• Introduction to energy including information on the energy body

• A Reiki history 

• The Reiki principles 

• An awareness of where Reiki should be used with caution

• Creating a Healing Space including an introduction to meditation, protection and cleansing techniques.

• Practical uses of Reiki including, basic techniques and exploring how it can be used in daily life

• Guidelines for self-treatment including opportunity to practise

• Guidelines for giving a seated treatment plus opportunities to practise 

• Guidelines for giving a full-treatment plus opportunities to practise 

• 4 Attunements 

• Once you receive the attunements and open yourself up to Reiki you will start what is called a 21-day clearing process. We will speak about what this is and ways to help yourself during this time.

• Information on case studies and Reiki second degree
